Harrogate Disability Football Tournament.
This event is hosted by HGFC and Killinghall Nomads and with over 40 teams participating, it has become one of the largest disability football tournaments in the country. It takes place on the first Sunday in July at the magnificent Killinghall Community Park, just on the outskirts of Harrogate.

Tockwith Football Funday
This event is one of the highlights of our calendar and incorporates sponsored Marathon Football match, a coaches tournament and an intergrated mini league with Tockwith Juniors and Tockwith Mothers football teams. All the players throughout the club play lots of football, have lots of fun and raise much needed funds in the process.


National Mencap 11-a-side Football
Every February we give our players the opportunity to attend tha National Mencap trials at Warwick. Selected players then attend a training weekend in Wales before flying out to Switzerland for the European Championships.

National Mencap 5-a-side
The National Mencap 5-side tournament take place in Leeds every June. HGFC enters two teams at Novice and Intermediate levels. If numbers permit, we also enter look at enetring a girls team if possible.

Special Olympics
HGFC organise regional SO football events. Our player also get the oportunity to represent the region at the Special Olympics National Summer games which take place every four years. Players who have played at these games are then eligible for nomination the the following World Games.

Other Tournaments
Teams from around the region are always running localised events. The season usually takes us to Leeds, Thorne, Cleethorpes and Wakefield as well as other clubs who may be running a tournament.

End Of Season Awards
After all that.... we eventually get the chance to unwind with some good food and drink as we recognise achievement and hard work that everyone has put in throughout the season.

The club then breaks up for a six week rest over the summer holidays
